Self-Reliance

Прочитал. На этот раз читал по диагонали, манифест написан 100 лет назад, на старо-английском или как его там. Читать мне было тяжеловато, но книга очень интересно оформлена - слева красным на всю страницу большим шрифтом ключевая цитата для текущей страницы манифеста, справа сам текст страницы с подсвеченным ключевым текстом. И релевантное высказывание современника или какая поговорка по смыслу подходящая. С любовью сделано.

Запомнилось:

• Traveling is a fool's paradise. Our first journeys discover to us the indifference of places.
• No one is free who is not master of himself.

• You will always find those who think they know what is your duty better than you know it.
• Nothing is at last sacred but the integrity of your own mind.
